Sony Philippines recently invited members of the press to announce Sony’s pivotal role in the HD revolution. “The history of HD is the history of Sony,” according to Arnold Balao, Deputy Director for Home Audio-Video Marketing. And because Sony has paved the way for HD in the Philippines, Sony is even bringing the HD experience to newer and greater heights. In the press conference held last March 7, 2007 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Sony introduced the total solution to the a bigger HD world. See, Feel and Relive Reality with Sony’s wide variety of HD Bravia, HD Cybershot, and HD Handycam.

Kicking off the Summer Pleasures Exhibits nationwide was the Sony Philippines’ Dealers Conference at the Shangri-la Hotel last March 7 and 8, 2007. Dealers from all over the country gathered to witness the unveiling of the HD world, the highlight of the Summer Pleasures Exhibits. Along with the presentation of HD world, of course, was the introduction of our new HD product line-ups. All eyes focused on the Bravia televisions that create 1080p resolution that enhances HD viewing. New touch-up functions and the face detection technology of the latest Cyber-shot T-Series, W-Series and H-Series models definitely caught interest. Likewise, Sony’s newest AVCHD and HDV format Handycams, which have that amazing feature where you can take high-resolution still images from your very own recording, impressed everyone.

But aside from these new product line-ups, the Gear Up your Sony Ericsson promo was also introduced wherein for every purchase of featured Sony Ericsson phones, customers get special discount vouchers for Sony Ericsson accessories, Sony memory sticks, Sony photo printers, Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth accessories and the MEX-BT2500 car audio. The promo concurrently launched the new line of Sony Bluetooth headsets. There was even an interesting demonstration on the powers of Sony Bluetooth which enables anyone to enjoy great-quality music, wirelessly.
