Question:
White hazy round spots occasionally appear in a recorded image when using the flash.
Answer:

This occurs if there are dust particles floating in the air and they are illuminated by the strong flash light. This would occasionally appear in a recorded image as round spots.  This symptom tends to occur when using a compact camera. Note that this is not a malfunction.

How this symptom occurs

If this occurs, please shoot without using the flash.
* If ambient light is not enough, such as when shooting indoors, please increase the ISO sensitivity. Also, please use a tripod or hold the camera steady to prevent camera-shake
