Question:
There is little or no fisheye effect when using a fisheye lens.
Answer:
This occurs when using a fisheye lens that is designed for use with a full-frame digital SLR camera on a camera that has an APS-C sensor. Since an APS-C sensor is smaller than a full-frame sensor, only the center of the fisheye lens is being used. Therefore, the fisheye effect is minimal, or nonexistent, depending on the fisheye lens being used. Only use a fisheye lens designed for an APS-C digital SLR camera.
