Why can't the DV file (extension .avi) saved on a CD/DVD media be played back normally?
The DV file (extension .avi) saved on a CD/DVD media cannot be played back normally.
This symptom is due to the transfer rate of the data and and the large amount of file size being used. To avoid this symptom, always copy the files to a local hard disk drive and playback from there.
Note: Playback from a CD/DVD media can be achieved only when the file size is small or in MPEG1 format.
