This is a gem of a lens. It's really small, and really sharp. Autofocus is faultless. I bought it to downsize from the 16-35GM, as I realised I use that lens almost always at 16mm. I'm looking forward to using the 16 f1.8G for wide field astro photograpy as soon as the cloudy skies clear.

I’m loving the Sony FE 16mm f1.8G! Super sharp, great in low light, and so light that I barely notice it in my bag — perfect for both photos and video.

I love the 16 f1.8 lens, its small light and compact for its focal range. Its perfect use for vlogging because it is very wide and focuses fast.

Great lens. I love it for it compact size and light weight. I use this lens in combination with the 35mm GM. This way I’m covered from 16mm/ super 35mm @ 24mm. The 35mm will cover 50mm

I purchased the FE 16mm f1.8 G lens from Sony Store because of the free gift (the leofoto tripod). I made the purchase during the qualifying period. And I have done the successful product registration. But till date I hear nothing from Sony Store. I understand it is stated while stock last, but at least Sony should inform the customer. Bad service and very unprofessional. I will rate everything bad irregardless how good is your product.
