Excellent lens for my camera, clear and sharp as you would expect from Sony

I bought this as a telephoto mainly for wildlife but at the wide end is good enough for some landscape photography. Another reason for buying this lens was to reduce weight along with the purchase of the a6700 having previously shot with the FUJI X-S20 and the SIGMA 100 to 400 contemporary lens.

This tiny great-reach lens is incredible. It has fantastic quality and is incredibly sharp. I haven’t taken it off my camera since I got it. I absolutely love it and have taken amazing images with it. Honestly, I’m not rich and I bought it on instalment but it’s worth every penny.

I choose Sony A6700 and 70-350 len because 1 is the weight (i walk for hours) . 2 is the len zoom distance (up to 525mm) for wildlife photography. 3 the costs is lower compare to a full frame and a prime len. lastly I like the colours of photo taken.

I bought this during 11/11 sales and could not be happier, I've only gone out a handful of times with it to a few parks so far but I've managed to get some amazing shots with it already.

I took this lens from the store straight to a local park to try out the OSS feature. I'm not a young man and my hands are not as steady as they once were, so to be able to hand hold a 350mm lens and have the photos tack sharp was more than I had hoped for. It feels well made. All adjustments are smooth with just the right amount of tension. It fits well in the hand. The controls fall right where I need them. It was a natural fit from the first. I'm going to be loving this lens.

I just got this lens a month ago, I'm very proud to be able to capture birds more clearly with this lens.

Bought this lens to compliment my shorter focal length lenses. Brilliant!!

Bought this for travel, because lugging the 200-600 around is absolutely too much unless I’m specifically going on a wildlife adventure. I must say, the images produced are surprisingly better than the 200-600, but maybe that’s just me. Also fits better with the A6700 that I shoot with.

Fantastic zoom lens. Lightweight with a lot of reach. Actually better in low light situations than I thought it would be not having the widest aperture but good enough for moon photos and excellent for wildlife. Literally does not come off my a6700 as it's soo good. Od you want a light travel friendly zoom lens then this is the one to purchase. Might not have the zoom of the bigger higher end lens' but try carrying them around with you all day without moaning about the weight. I've done a whole shoot trackside at Brands Hatch, walked round my local RSPB without even breaking a sweat. The only zoom lens you really need...and can actually afford

Bought this at a discount after attending the Sony workshop for my A6700. I loved that the auto focus is very fast when I switch the different focus areas to recompose my shots quickly. And the light weight of this lens. Plus the button on the lens is so convenient for me to use it to lock my focus or programme it for other uses. Overall I’m super happy about this lens.

Been contemplating getting this lens for a long time and pulled the trigger when it was on sale. Lens is sharp and produces good quality photos. Love it on my a6400!

I was amazed with the sharpness and dreamy bokeh that this lens produced. Light and easy to use. Works great with my Sony A6700

After getting the 90mm macro lens I was needing a long zoom to complement it and settled on the 70-350mm. As I am using it with the A6700 APSC it gives a 1.4x magnifying effect which when combined with the clarity and sharpness yields terrific photos of distant objects (planes, birds etc). I'm new to G lenses, so please excuse the gushing praise over the SEL70-210 I used before (but suffered from lens mold).

Bought last month after months of saving, love to take photos just dont have the funds to buy equipment. Coupled to a a6000 that was donated from a friend after his upgrade to a6700. Images look fantastic on this lens, only one i have so carnt compare to others.

I use this with my Sony A6700, great combo in the field. Lightweight lens, fast focusing, lens OSS combined with 6700 5 axis IBIS and subject tracking is ideal for birds floating or flying. Highly recommend!

Haven't been using this lens for long, but the image quality so far has been excellent at both ends of the range. It sits nicely on my a6700 and not front heavy at all, I thought it maybe would have been. The zoom operation is nice and smooth, not loose with any hint of losing the position you set it to when hands off. Very happy to recommend.

A beautifully engineered lens with superb sharpness allowing me to take landscape and wildlife images that, to me as an amateur are more than acceptable. The attached image taken with this lens has been cropped/edited in Lightroom.

I was reluctant to spend this much on a lens for my a6400 camera but am happy that I did. All functions of this lens have exceeded my expectations. The clarity is Sharp. The OSS works wonders. It is a real joy to use. Thank You Sony for designing it and Thank You China for manufacturing a high quality product. I highly recommend this lens!

350mm focal length (equivalent to 525 on full frame) allows you to get unbelievable shots. Great picture quality even at max zoom. OSS means it's very easy to use even handheld at max zoom.

The best camera companion I've ever used. It's just perfect lens that has not only the best zoom I exactly need, but also has the ability to produce close range pictures in a magnificent shape and finish. The weight of the lens is excellent and it looks beautiful on the camera body. It's a bargain and a must have.

Like the light weight of this lens for the amount of reach that you can get with a A6700 body. It is an excellent choice for travel and the image quality is reasonably good enough for me.

I needed more reach for my A6700 when photographing animals at the Phoenix Zoo. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. So glad that I bought this lens. Very fast focus and very sharp images. I am going to the Salt River to Photograph Wild Horses in a few weeks. This lens will be on my camera the whole time. Good job Sony

I am using this on my A7C II in crop mode to get equivalent 525mm. Amazing reach for this price and such a lightweight lens, and I put up with only having 15Mp resolution. Would be ideal on higher Mp full frame cameras. Using full frame there is virtually no vignette at 70mm. Up to 200mm vignette just affects the corners, so much better than APS-C crop. Even beyond that a square crop will avoid most of the vignette up to 300mm.

I use this lens for wildlife photography, it’s a great lens. It is sharp and great colour.

I purchased this lens about 1 month ago, it's light for it's size, excellent picture quality, and at a good price.

Should have gotten it earlier. Overall sharpness and autofocus is better than the 55-210mm which is already a very good lens. The extra reach is great at 525mm(35mm equivalent)

It gives me the extra reach for wildlife and street photography with great sharpnes, colors and dof. Also size and weight are fine for travel photography.

I bought this a few weeks ago with an A6700 and put it to good use a few days later on a trip to London and this weekend at Chinese New Year celebrations in Southampton. The quality of images is amazing and so much better than the 55-210mm that it replaced. The autofocus is quick and accurate, especially in continuous mode, and the build quality is reassuringly chunky.

I have alpha a6400 apsc and it will give me a 500mm focal length for just 600 pounds

Bought during black friday event at a good price. Lens is performing well. I'm sure there are better lens but I'm sure they come at a much higher price - I'm not a pro! OSS works well. Focus is good and images have been coming out great...just want some better weather conditions now to really put it through its paces.

A recent purchase to go alongside the 16 55 G lens used on A6700. For the size it’s a light lens to carry but offers a great focal range , not taken a few test shots at all zoom distances and all photos are sharp, No AF issue’s encountered either. Very happy with this lens , maybe Sony would offer a faster zoom in future. Purchased lens for an upcoming holiday and I don’t think I will be disappointed with the results , it certainly won’t be the lens at fault. Only downside I think is no provision of a lens case , surprisingly being a G lens.

Excellent discount from Sony during an Amazon Prime promotion! I have an a6000! Pleased with my lens! Sony should update a6000 firmware to get full benefits from this lens. Pros: Nicely built lens, quality degree of weather sealing, effective optical stabilizer , fast and quiet autofocus, good tracking capabilities, excellent sharpness and contrast Sharp across frame and across zoom range, good bokeh rendering Not so good :- flare prone and some pincushion distortion

We have lots of amazing wild life in our area, something I recently took an interest into photographing, after quite a bit of research and watching countless YouTube reviews I decided to take the plunge and purchase the lens. I have been very impressed with the results, the photographs have been very sharp even at 350 with no sign of camera shake. Thanks Sony. Highly recommended

I bought this lens to use on my Sony a9. I wanted a lens that wasn’t too large or heavy, that gave me switchable auto/manual focus, and image stabilisation. This lens provides all of that and using the a9’s Super 35 mode gives me a range of 105 - 525mm. The results meet all of my expectations and the picture quality is perfect for what I require. My main subjects are aircraft in flight and wildlife. I am even more impressed by the results obtained when using my camera’s digital zoom, which takes this lens up to an incredible 1050mm equivalent. It’s auto focusing speed is very fast and accurate, this coupled with the added image stabilisation makes this lens a definite winner for me.

Bought this lens for distant photography, 525mm focal length is an amazing reach plus the sharpness overall is very satisfactory. Images taken on Bon Odori 2023 @ lalaport (Below images are down-sampled to below 5mb for upload)

The lens is extremely light and easy to carry and pack, yet performs with superior results. I took it on a recent walk through a large city, and was amazed at the detail in the photos of the birds I took.

This was my first telephoto lens, and I bought it three months ago to use on my A6000. It's such fun to use and very versatile: it can be used for action, wildlife, landscapes and portraits. You will need to have good light to be able take photos that require a higher shutter count, but when the subject allows is, the OSS works well, or a tripod can be used. It took me a bit of time to learn how to capture photos I enjoy looking at, but with this lens, it's been great fun.
