After weeks of testing it, I enjoyed it. It is easy to operate all the build-in functions. Most "Sound Field" presets that comes with the system sound great. My favourites are the "Movie 2", "Excited" and "Nostalgic" sounds with or without "Mega Bass" boost turn on. Not forgetting great value too.

So far so good, hope Sony will introduce WiFi connection & Wireless microphone features very soon.

If you are an audiophile this product is not for you but if you are a movie lover this product meet your expectations

This speaker system is great! The sounds it reproduce is very good! The bass, mid range & treble all sound great and crystal clear. The hardware design also looks good & stylish, although I think it would have been better if the big speakers (the woofer part) have some shielding. But overall, it's a great buy! What matters is the sound reproduction, & it's well worth it!

I love Sony but unfortunately, the sound quality of this audio system is not of the same fidelity/standard as the Sony of old where the brand is known to produce excellent, top-notch hifi products. Its high power output is suitable for karaoke and casual listening but never meant for serious listening e.g listening to a CD or uncompressed audio.

For an entry level sound system, this one does the job perfectly. The sound it produce depends and varies significantly on several factors like placement of speakers, room size and music/video formats to be played. The Bluetooth connectivity function is really smooth. There is no need to be so technical about its capability as it fills our living room with the right amount of everything especially on karaoke nights without any sound distortions. At max PMPO, it's still clear and loud. The two mic inputs keeps everyone entertained especially on duets. During movie nights, it provides the right level of surround and sound effects but again, reiterating that it depends on the media type you're playing. I always watch Netflix and by properly activating the surround and Dolby settings from the source, which is my TV, everything is perfect. Just don't expect the bigger woofing and crawling bass sound since the speakers have no no sub-woofer. A very handy and decent product from Sony. For a 120-200 watt with a rated 6-8 ohm and 109 decibel sound output, it's a house party!

Lots of money in cables and days of reading and following extremely cryptic instructions to no avail. We can’t set the system to the simple task of playing the sounds of our tv. We want to watch tv and hear it’s audio with this device, simple. It’s impressive that it’s so difficult to do such a simple and basic task.

I bought it last year and the sound is no good custom equaliser has its limits. And usb can not read any files. Disappointed...

The sound it produces is like a from background, coming from afar/distance, and originating from a hollow tin can. The sound does not have a body, is not full. I probably should have bought a Shake X10 instead, but customer satisfaction is not a criteria for replacement in this country.
