If you've changed the name of your iPhone, you may have problems connecting to the Xperia Ear Duo app for iOS devices. To remedy the problem in your iPhone, follow these instructions:
To connect to the Xperia Ear Duo app for iOS devices
- iPhone: Settings > Bluetooth.
- Tap the "i" mark next to XEA20 and XEA20-LE, and then tap Forget this device.
- Xperia Ear Duo: Perform a factory data reset.
- Pair your Xperia Ear Duo and your iPhone.
If you still cannot connect to the Xperia Ear Duo app for iOS devices, try changing the name of your iPhone.
- iPhone: Settings > General > About > Name.
- Change the name of your iPhone. Do not use double-byte characters, for example, Japanese. Use only single-byte letters or numbers.
- Settings > Bluetooth.
- Tap the "i" mark next to XEA20 and XEA20-LE, and then tap Forget this device.
- Xperia Ear Duo: Perform a factory data reset.
- Pair your Xperia Ear Duo and your iPhone.
