General Notes for USB connection

    • The operations of the USB connected devices described on this Website are validated under certain conditions.

    • Depending on the devices, a part of the Audio operation functions (such as Reverse/fast-forward a track) may be unavailable.
    • Depending on the type of the character code used for the attached information of music file, the characters of the music title may not be displayed correctly. 
    • If you start your car engine with that USB device connected to the Car Audio unit, the USB devices may be damaged or malfunction. Make sure to connect the USB device to the Car Audio unit after starting the car engine.

    • If you cannot operate the USB function through the car audio system, follow these steps,
      1. Remove the USB device from the car audio unit.
      2. Turn off the car audio unit by pressing the SOURCE button for 2 seconds.
      3. Turn on the car audio unit by pressing the SOURCE button.
      4.  Re-connect the USB device.
    • Depending on the shape of the USB Device, the device may not connect to this unit directly.
