Follow this procedure when music cannot be copied from a CD using the Windows Media player.
1. In the Windows Media Player window, on the menu bar, click Tools.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3. In the Options window, click the Devices tab.
4. On the Devices tab, click to select the appropriate CD/DVD drive.
5. Click the Properties button.
6. In the Properties window, on the Audio tab, in the Playback box, click to select Digital.
7. In the Copy box, click to select Digital.
8. Click the OK button.
9. In the Options window, click the OK button.
