Compact, lightweight body design

The ECM-S1 comprises compact and lightweight0 microphone / transmitter and receiver units that provide excellent functionality with high digital sound quality. It can be used in a wide variety of environments, both indoors and outdoors with a camera.

Operability for real-time confirmation and adjustment

An independent AUDIO LEVEL dial allows real-time adjustment of the audio input level with the upper dial. In addition, the connection status between the microphone and receiver can be checked with the LINK lamp.

Suitable for long hours of outdoor shooting

The receiver and microphone each have built-in batteries. The receiver can be used continuously with direct power supply when connected to the camera's Multi Interface (MI) Shoe0 or to a PC or other device1. The microphone can be used continuously for about 13 hours when fully charged. The microphone can be used for long periods of time without worrying about the battery.

Improved flexibility in audio recording through wireless transmission

Bluetooth 5.3 (Bluetooth Low Energy) and a LC3plus codec provide low power consumption, low latency, and high sound quality. Communication is possible at up to 150 m when there is a good line of sight, for flexibility in outdoor microphone placement.

Supports a variety of mounting and attachment methods

The microphone can be attached to a stand during recording, and the angle of the microphone can be adjusted back and forth. Alternatively, the 1/4" thread on the bottom of the microphone can be used to mount the microphone on a tripod, or a conversion adaptor can be used to attach the microphone to a boom arm
